If the product body is too small to fully mark all required label information, you must first check the small-sized device label exemption clauses in RSP-100 or the corresponding RSS standards. If eligible, the complete compliance information can be placed on the sales packaging, product manual, or official designated electronic instruction page, but the product body still needs to be marked with at least clearly identifiable core traceable information such as certification number, and must not be completely without any compliance label. In addition to the product body, the information on packaging, manuals and sales channels also needs to be checked in combination with the corresponding rules:
• Sales packaging: It is recommended to print core compliance information on the packaging to facilitate customs inspection and quick confirmation by consumers when purchasing. Many sellers ask whether products of the same series can share the same certification number and label. The answer is: there is no fixed rule that “as long as the wireless modules are the same, they can be shared”, and it must be subject to the records in ISED’s official certification database.
If the wireless module, radio frequency parameters, antenna configuration, etc. of products of the same series do not exceed the coverage of the original certification, and all HVINs are within the scope listed in the certification document, the corresponding certification number can be used. The 5 Most Common Label Mistakes for Charging Products
1. Type confusion: Treating other labels such as FCC and Qi as ISED compliance labels, thinking that having one of them allows sales in Canada. In fact, the regulatory scope and applicable regions of different labels are completely different.
2. Unreasonable position: Affixing the label in positions that are easy to wear or block, such as plug pins and next to charging interfaces, causing it to become unrecognizable quickly during use and increasing compliance risks.

• Different countries and regions have different labeling requirements. For example, the United States uses FCC, the European Union uses CE, and Canada uses ISED. You cannot directly use labels from other markets in Canada.
• The same product can be printed with compliance labels for multiple markets at the same time, such as ISED, FCC, and CE at the same time, but the certification corresponding to each label must be real and valid, and meet their respective style requirements.
• Before going on the market, it is necessary to plan the content and layout of the label in advance in combination with the rules of the target market, so as not to find that there is no place to print when adding a new label later.
